Delivery estimator

Estimate delivery before you order.

Pick a destination and a volume. You get the number of truckloads and an indicative delivery window, worked out from road distances.

  • Delivered from Enviro-Rock's BC facilities, including a stockpile in the Fraser Valley. Pickup from Quesnel by appointment.
  • Bulk B-trains carry up to 140 m³ a load, so 500 m³ loose (about 400 m³ compacted) is four loads.
  • Delivery covers BC, Alberta, Washington, Oregon and California. For other sites, ask when you request a quote.
  • Enter a compacted, in-place volume and the estimator converts it to the loose volume you order.

How this estimate is worked out
  • Distances are worked out from the nearer by road of the Fraser Valley stockpile and the Quesnel plant. Which yard serves an order is confirmed with your quote.
  • Road distances and drive times are measured on the OpenStreetMap road network.
  • A loaded truck is taken as 20% slower than the routed car time, with 10 driving hours a day.
  • Trucks are assumed to leave 2 business days after an order is confirmed, with material in stock. Weekends are skipped; statutory holidays are not.
  • Trailer volumes are the maximums on Enviro-Rock's delivery trailer sheet.
  • A compacted volume is converted to loose using Enviro-Rock's guidance of about a 20% reduction from loose thickness.
  • Cross-border loads carry a 1-day allowance for customs paperwork.

Indicative only. Your confirmed schedule comes with your quote.

Questions

Delivery questions

How quickly can I get Enviro-Rock?

Delivery times vary with location and product availability.[1] The estimator gives an indicative window based on road distance, and your quote proposes a delivery schedule for your order.

Where do you deliver?

Delivery covers British Columbia, Alberta, Washington, Oregon and California.[1] For a site outside that area, ask when you request a quote. Material is delivered from Enviro-Rock's BC facilities, including a stockpile in the Fraser Valley.[2]

How much fits on one truck?

Up to 140 m³ (about 183 yd³) on a B-train, 106 m³ (138 yd³) on a shuffle floor, 45 m³ (59 yd³) on an end-dump trailer and 45.7 m³ (59.7 yd³) on a truck and pup, or up to 102 m³ per load in 1.7 m³ super sacks.[3] No minimum order is published.

Should I order the loose or the compacted volume?

Order loose volume. Allow for about a 20% reduction from loose thickness when the fill is compacted, unless the design specifies otherwise.[4]

Can I pick it up myself?

Yes, from the Quesnel facility by appointment.[1]
